The Comedy Box, Bristol’s premier comedy club, previously used an email system that provided flexibility but struggled to keep up with the growing volume of emails and shows. As the number of events increased, managing email campaigns became more complex. In addition, the original email design needed a refresh to better capture the attention of recipients and boost engagement.

To tackle these challenges, I redesigned the email template to be more modern, visually striking, and user-friendly. The new design features improved responsiveness, larger, attention-grabbing images, and updated fonts, all contributing to a bold, professional appearance. This updated look ensures that the emails stand out in recipients’ inboxes, increasing open rates and engagement.

In addition to the design overhaul, I also revamped the email system itself to simplify the process of creating and managing campaigns. The updated system now allows show details to be directly imported from the website’s database into the email creation form. This integration makes it easy for the website owner to incorporate up-to-date content from the site into email campaigns, while still allowing for customization as needed. This improvement significantly streamlines the workflow and saves time when managing multiple shows and email campaigns.

The end result is an email system that combines a fresh, eye-catching design with enhanced usability, allowing The Comedy Box to manage email campaigns more efficiently and effectively. With a modern, engaging email template and an optimized system for campaign creation, the website owner can now manage their emails with ease and focus on growing the business.
